Ground-breaking Conference

Claiming our Future

Conference on October 22nd, 2010 No Comments

Claiming our Future was a ground breaking conference held in the RDS , Dublin .

Claiming our Future is a unique event. It offers a chance for people, trade unions, community organizations, environmental groups, business groups and other civil society organizations to not just talk about a better way – but to take new inspiring steps. It aims to foster a unity across civil society and to power a progressive movement to reshape Ireland’s recovery and claim our social values.

The event is an extremely important opportunity for the trade union movement and civil society to come together to consider and deliberate on the values we share, the policy choices that need to be made, and to define effective ways of cooperating to change the course of government. The main objective of the event was to discuss and debate issues and to generate tangible outcomes that had been voted on by those attending.
